Where Your Dueling Dreams and Nightmares Come Alive!

Curriculum And Classes

I suppose its as a good idea as any to include Classes and Curriculum, though they may seem to be the same thing (made the title more fancy) I thought it may help the RP experience... Though considering that many of our shadow students are skipping I don't know. The building is divided into dorms (Achillai on the left, Herculae on the Right) and the central part consists of classrooms!

Location, Location, Location!

A few of you have asked me where, in fact, Luster Academy lies. "Is it on an island?" One such student asked. Well, my friends, in keeping with the Yugioh Tradition, we'll say Yes! Slightly more of a temperate based Island dominated by oaks and pines, it has a mountain and is surrounded by sea. There are numerous caves along the seaside, a dark, deadly forest, and multiple lakes- Somewhere, there's a graveyard, but I'll leave that to your imaginations.

The Academy buildings themselves lie on the Western Part of the Island, along with a small port for incoming students and a helicopter pad a mile or so away. Civilization steadily fades away as students venture farther and farther away from the dorms and education building. Weather calls for fog 35% of the time, thunderstorms 20%, and sunny days 45% of the time.

Also, people have asked the time period this is in, and while I cannot give you an exact year we can place it after GX, in the beginning years of the Duel Runner's popularity.

The Dorms- Achillai and Herculae

Achillai pertains to the focus of card effects, through spells, traps, and monster combos to win a duel. They are more defensive than offensive, focused on obliterating competition through decks like Prediction Princess and even some variations of Lightsworn. Their styles can be quite aggressive, proving that the mere assigning of a dorm does not make them more superior or weaker than the other. Their mascot is the mighty Black Luster Soldier, Envoy of the Beginning.

Whereas for the Herculae, they focus more on dealing damage through their monster's strength and cards that deal direct damage to the player. They use decks such as Dinosaurs and Battlin' Boxer to obliterate their competition- Some utilize traps, others spells, but they can be a mix leaning towards one playing style rather than the other. Their mascot is the powerful Black Luster Soldier, Super Soldier.

Uniforms: The Achillai and Herculae Difference

The girls uniforms have, really, only a few differences, such as optional bows for the hair and skirts, of course. Before you ask, the Herculae girl is wearing tan tights instead of black (Or so we'll say) in her uniform style. Once again, we have more of an olive green in the blazer for the Achillai, whereas its more sweet pea in the Herculae.

Another thing that bugged me was the fact that I never "gave out" a designated uniform for all of y'all. I figured, as fancy as this place was, why not? The male version of the Achillai dorm features more of a bowtie (they're cool!) affixed to the neck, a bit of a darker, more formal blazer, and the same pants. However, Herculae is a bit more loose and relaxed in their short sleeved blazer and lazy tie, featuring more of a sweet pea green.
